The varied Luino 2008 Musical Season will open on 20 April at 21.00 at the Palazzo Verbania with the virtuosity of the soloists' Orient Express Ensemble and sounds of Eastern European melancholy and passionate. A concert that put to work some early parts of the Orchestra of Italian Switzerland: Hungarian Tamás Major, also first violin of the Orchestra of Budapest, Corrado Giuffredi also guest principal clarinet of the Filarmonica della Scala, and Enrico Fagone, along with Cyrus Root accordionist and author of the arrangements and Frank Galante, voice. The repertoire
provides Romanian dances, czardas Hungarian gypsy atmosphere of the compositions of G. Boulanger and the klezmer music of the Jews of Central and Eastern Europe. Original arrangements and improvisation in an alternate program swirling rhythms and exciting.
The voice is an interpreter of some of the more humorous songs of the Yiddish tradition.

Tamas Major, violin

Corrado Giuffredi

Enrico Fagone
is the first bass of the Orchestra of Italian Switzerland. Born in 1979 he graduated with honors from the Conservatorio "G. Nicolini" in Piacenza, under the guidance of Maestro L. Colonna, completing his studies with internationally renowned masters: F. Petracchi., M. Dorin, E . Ferrari, A. Sciancalepore.
